The Vagina Monologues

The Iconic Play by V (Formerly Eve Ensler)

Next Stage Production: February 2027

Stay tuned for information about the 2027 production of The Vagina Monologues, which takes place every February around Valentine’s Day. In the meantime, follow us on Instagram and Facebook to get the latest on our Vagina Monologues Open Mic Nights!

The Vagina Monologues was written in 1996 by playwright, performer and activist, V (formerly Eve Ensler). The play explores sexuality, reproduction, sexual violence, and other topics through monologues by women of various backgrounds.  The V-Day campaign was launched around the production, which went on to raise over $100 million dollars for groups working to end violence against women and others subject to gender-based violence. Every year, local productions are staged to raise money for groups working to end violence against women.

The Cottage produces performances every February, and hosts community The Vagina Monologues Open Mic Nights throughout the year.
